FAQs

  • My sessions are currently 100% online. Therapy sessions are conducted using a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.

A couple things to keep in mind:

    • Legally, I can only provide services to you while you are in the state of Washington.

    • To prepare for therapy, make sure that you have an internet-connected computer or phone ready with a camera and microphone. Find an environment that is as private and comfortable as possible so that you can focus on our time together.

  • I offer therapy through a sliding scale structure, with fees from $50-$200 for each 55 minute session. Click here to learn more.

  • I am not currently in-network with any insurance plans. Click here for more info on insurance.

  • I work with adults 18 and older.

  • If an appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours notice, a cancellation fee of $100 will be charged.

I understand that things happen, so I offer clients one late cancellation a year without a fee.

  • First, schedule a free 20-30 minute consult. We will talk briefly about what is bringing you to therapy and what kind of support I offer. If it feels like we are a good fit, we can schedule your first session and discuss any logistical questions you may have. Click here to request your consult appointment.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
